This is a prayer that states what I believe to be the truth. It has
served me well for a long time.

I ask that you read it, preferably out loud, thinking about what it
says. Are there any passages that you stumble over? Is this because you
do not believe in what they say, or it is a lack of courage to say the
words themselves? 

Think about what you feel when you say the words. Satanism is not about 
repeating formulae by rote. It is about understanding your own desires
and acting to satisfy them. Understanding and acceptance must come first.

Say the prayer every day for a week. Then add or change it to say something
more - something that speaks to your own soul more than my words do. I ask
that for the moment you do not delete anything from the prayer. Is there
a conflict between the sections?

I believe every Satanist grouping should have some prayer that suits 
all of its members. This prayer is only a start. If we come together then
together we can form a worship that means something to all of us.

This is the prayer.


Our Master, who fell from Heaven
With Glory we speak your name
Your kingdom has come
Your wishes are done
Through us your willing servants

Lend us your power
To fulfil our desires
For we are one in communion
Our blood echoes your words,
and our hands do your work

Open to us the gates of Hell
That we may praise you all the more
And through them bring to you
The souls of our enemies
The followers of the Nazarene

The self-styled Creator
