General Info ============ We don't do this type of game much since it requires alot of coordination and is much faster paced. People get confused quickly, myself included. Be patient please. I will ask someone from the group to assist with the second table when needed. Snacks will be on the counter. The Tap water is now filtered and actually tastes much better. There is filtered water and ice in the door dispencer. Also some drinks in the fridge. You are welcome to play pool or darts while you wait for more players to drop out. As always, please break away from the front door. House Rules =========== * Have fun and make sure that you keep it friendly. * The blinds and time limit will be visible for most on the screen. A color chart for the chip values will be posted. * If there is any ruling or judgement required, the House (Jim in this case) will make the call. I am willing to discuss but since time is limited please be respectful of the house and the time. * No Cell Phone or texting please. You will be asked once. The next time you will be asked to step away from the table. * The big blind will shuffle the cards and hand the cards to the small blind so they can be ready to deal when it is their turn. * Mucking is allowed and encouraged. Keeps the mystery. :) * Please take no more than a minute to decide your hand. Time is precious and we would like to get in as many hands as possible. * Please do not ask to deal the whole hand just to see what you may have gotten. This keeps the game rolling along. * A standard cash game (like we play every week -- $.05/$.10 blinds) will start as players get out of the tournament. * I trust all of you to pay your initial $5 to seat one on each table. For the cash game please drop it in the Frog dish on the counter. This also applies to the Re-Buys done in the tournament. Betting ======= * Max bet/raise is 10 times the large blind. No all in unless it is 10 times the large blind. This keeps the game a bit more friendly. * 1 chip rule: If following a bet and someone throws in 1 chip and doesn't say anything -- it's a call. If an initial bettor just throws out 1 chip -- it's the value of the chip. If someone throws out 2 or more chips -- it's a raise. * Keep your bets in front of you. It's easier to figure out who's in and who's out. * Don't make change until the betting is complete. This helps us know who's in and who's out. It also helps when a raise comes behind. If a person mucks and has a larger chip value than the bet on the table, the dealer will give them change. * Once the betting is complete ... push the bets in the middle. Tournament Details ================== Payouts: Top 4 players-- 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% -- rounded to the nearest dollar.
