Egyptian Days:

Days and dates are intrinsically cyclic in nature, much like the seasons.  It follows 
that good times or days are followed by bad times or days and vice versa.  
Historically,  some days were considered inadvisable to commence a venture or 
undertakings.

Egyptian Days (Dies Aegyptiacae) are from calendar lore that was recorded in 
ancient Alexandria.  These days have been noted, revised, and proved over the 
course of time (over 2500 years) as being inauspicious to embark on, or 
commence in major undertakings, or in general as seen as being "off days" in 
minor affairs and functions.
