Occult Supplies in Palo Alto and Environs There's no occult store, per se; that said: Several community newcomers lately have said that they think the reason there's no local occult shop is that most of the occult supplies are readily available in mainstream stores, to wit-- Elephant Pharmacy on El Camino is a holistic/health/metaphysical drug store that carries a lot of herbs, oils, incenses, and so on: special essential-oil soap for use before a ritual? This is a good place to look for it. Walgreen's and Long's drug stores usually have lots of incenses, often many oils, and sometimes orisha candles (ostensibly Catholic saint images on candles color-coded for the West African deities for whom the saints are considered masks). Whole Foods on Homer has a lot of herbs, candles, incense, etc. Country Sun Health Foods on California Street, ditto, plus a few more things (more incenses, crystals, essential oils, etc.) Shady Lane on University Avenue has masks, statuary, etc.: http://www.shadylanegallery.com/ Watercourse Way on...Addison? street is a sort of Buddhist hot-tub temple spa, and has some nice meditation and New Age type stuff.
