The easiest way to get there is to walk from the Hauptbahnhof.  Go straight down Bahnhofstrasse, pass Uraniastrasse and at the next street on your left there will be the English Orell Fussli bookstore.  Go left there on Oetenbachgasse and the Lion's Pub is there on your left.
