Cherry Vodka

To a 1 quart wide moth jar add 1 cup pitted sour cherries and 1 cup white sugar fill to top with vodka.
Shake to get the sugar to dissolve. Let sit 3 weeks minimum.  I like to filter the mix into a wine bottle using a coffee filter in a funnel.
