Candidate Paul makes another convert

I echo the sentiments of Joe Salorino's letter (Erie Times-News, Aug. 14) about U.S. Rep Ron Paul, R-Texas, a Pennsylvania native who is seeking the Republican nomination for president.

I am 38 year old and have been a registered Independent since I was old enough to vote. I am strongly considering changing my affiliation to Republican so that I can vote for Paul in the 2008 primary.

Paul is the only candidate telling the truth about Iraq and our imperialistic, interventionist foreign policies toward the Middle East, which contributed significantly to precipitating the 9/11 attacks.
