Dear Neighbor,

I'm a fellow citizen of Boulder County currently residing in your precinct.  I am writing you as an unpaid, independent volunteer for the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign.  Like you, I am deeply concerned about what is happening to our nation.  Please take a few moments to review the materials enclosed.  

You will find that Ron Paul (R. Tex.) represents a refreshing alternative to the Democrat/Republican dog and pony show that has been running our country.  A strong libertarian, Dr. Paul is currently fighting to win the Republican nomination in the face of opposition from the war-mongering, Neocon, power elite and their Big Media allies.  He is outside of the phony Left/Right paradigm we've been indoctrinated to believe in.  The real paradigm is Freedom/Tyranny and Dr. Paul is anathema to those in government and corporate America who think the U.S. Constitution and the Bill Of Rights are optional or too 'old-fashioned'.

If you are like me, you would be willing to do whatever it takes to stop the mad rush toward building 'empire' abroad and destroying the 'Republic' here at home.  The loss of civil liberties and the emergence of the police state, together with American soldiers dying and being maimed in the service of the corporate elite, can no longer be tolerated.  We, the people, must take back our federal government.

Every candidate in the 2008 Presidential race, whether Democrat or Republican, with the exception of Ron Paul, have abdicated their allegiance to the American people and, in varying degrees, are betraying this nation's soveignty to powerful global financial interests.  Ron Paul, a ten term member of Congress, has consistently voted along Constitutional lines.  From the beginning, he has warned us about the North American Union.  He has always voted against the Iraq War with no compromises as the Democrats have allowed.  He voted against the Patriot Act and every wire-tapping/surveillance scheme the Establishment Democrats and Neocon Republicans have foisted on us.

A 'Jeffersonian Republican', Dr. Paul has never voted to raise taxes.  The answer to all of our problems does not lie with Big Government cradle to grave social control, but with less government and more freedom for everyone.  If he were alive today, George Orwell, himself, would be amazed at the extent Big Govt has intruded into all aspects of our lives.  From the phony 'War On Terror' to the phony 'War On Drugs', we have been transformed from free citizens into controlled subjects.  I could go on and on...  

Unfortunately, Colorado has a 'closed caucus' system.  That means you must be a registered Republican in order to participate in the GOP nominating process.  Please join us in doing what we can to get Ron Paul the nomination.  The caucus will take place in February.  Go online or go directly to Boulder County Clerk's office and register as soon as possible.
