1. INT.  LIVING ROOM  -  DAY				

Martha/Mark is a mature very happy person  with a very close relationship with Mother. Here
Martha/Mark is having a cell phone conversation
With Mother about going to Lunch.  Both Mother and Martha/Mark is looking for to Lunch today.
Time is 11:16a.m.

  Martha/Mark

Hi Mom it’s me.  I saw the weirdest commercial today about a cellphone!  You would not believe what these people are doing to sell phones. Anyway, I’ll tell you about it when I see you for lunch!  How’s your day?

					 Mother

Im having a great day and I have so much to tell you about everything.  Life is just great .  See you at noon at your place. 

2. EXT. MARTHA/MARK FRONT DOOR  -  DAY


A.P.D. Officer

(knock, knock, knock)  door opens and Martha/Marks see a police officer.  She is still happy and excited about mother coming over for lunch.
					Martha/Mark
May I help you?
				A.P.D. Officer

My name is Officer Williams. Are you a relative of a Margaret Hanes?

Martha/Mark is not so happy when the question is asked.  Now there is a sense of fear and confusion why Officer is asking about Mother.

	
					Martha/Mark

Yes!  She is my Mother.
					A.P.D. Officer

There has been a accident about 10:00 a.m. Involving a woman we believe to be your mother. 

					Martha/Mark

Officer are you sure about the time of accident being 10:00 a.m.?

					A.P.D Officer

Yes I am.  I was officer who answered the call.

					Martha/Mark

Officer you have the wrong person. I just spoke with my mother at 11:16 and she is on her way here to meet me for lunch.

					A.P.D. Officer

Well.  If we hurry I can get you back here before she arrives but I need for you to come and verify that this is a mistake.
  
					Martha/Mark

Okay but we must hurry.


Martha/Mark hurries to the police car and officers drives to the morgue with his lights on.  Suddenly Martha/Mark decides to call Mother and tell her she might be a little late.

Martha/Mark cellphone is ringing and ringing.  Martha/Mark  gets worried and almost panic but Mother answers the phone

					Martha/Mark

Mother are you alright?  Im in police car going to the morgue.  The Police thinks you died in a accident.  Are you alright?

					Mother

Im fine.  Im fine.  I’ll see you later.

The phone goes dead and Martha/Mark tries to call back but no answer.

					Martha/Mark
I told you my mother is fine. I just spoke with her and she is fine.  Can we hurry faster I need to get home. My mother will be waiting for me.

					A.P.D. Officer

Yes.ma’am
Officer now turns on the siren and lights and speeds faster.

				(AT THE MORGUE)

					Dr.Moore

Hello.  Im Dr. Moore and you must be Ms. Hane’s  daughter.

					Martha/Mark
I am a daughter of a Ms.Hanes but I am sure I am not the daughter of the person you have here. See I just talked with my mother on the way over here. Ask the Officer he hear me talking to my mother.  Anyway, can I please see this person and say it is not my mother so I can meet my mother for lunch?

					Dr. Moore

I hope youre right but we must show you the body.

Is this your mother?


The body is indeed her/his mother and there by her side is her cellphone.  Now Martha/Mark cannot think and all the emotions take over.  Confused / Shocked / Afraid / disbelief  but more so WHO WAS THAT PERSON ON THE PHONE.

					Martha/Mark

She cant be dead I just talked to her.  And there is her cellphone on her side.
