FRANCIE'S CHEDDAR SQUARES 1/2 cup butter, softened 16 oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese 3 cups milk 3 eggs, beaten 10 slices bread, crusts trimmed Salt & pepper to taste Garlic & Onion Powder to taste (optional) Mix together butter and cheese in double boiler. Heat milk almost to boiling in a large saucepan over medium heat; add to cheese mixture. Heat until cheese melts. Stir in eggs & seasonings. Arrange bread slices in 2 rows in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan. Slowly pour cheese mixture over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Cut into small squares.
