Hello all, this is a quick discription about my triad system.First off it can be played in any time period.I tend to play in the mid-evil time. The stats are as follows. Heres an example of a character.Lets say hes a fighter. Strength-9 LEVEL-3 brawling-8 melee-10 response-9 agility-8 accuracy-7 endurance-10 intuition-8 psyche-5 will power-7 Tolerance- 190 Thease are the primary stats. Skills modify thease stats. SKILLS Long sword +1 ( modifies melee ) horse combat +1 ( modifies melee & agilities ) crossbow +1 ( modifies accuracy ) read/write +1 ( modifies intuition ) dager +1 ( modifies brawling & accuracy ) intimidate +1 ( modifies will power ) quick draw +1 (long sword ) ( modifies response ) lite sleeper +1 (modifies intuition ) EQUIPMENT long sword +3 str dager +1 str crossbow 20 bolts chain mail -4 to agility ( 60 dmg ) backpack flint 2 torches 2 small pouches helmet, steel -2 ( 20 dmg ) 50 ft silk rope/grapple gauntlets +3 str Now let me give you a little background about the triad system. First of all your character is as smart as you are. This is because its you. You can play any type of character you want.The system is based on you being able to transport your mind into a character. This is done with the T.R.I.A.D system or transferance-relocation-Intergration-artificial- Defense system. This system was originaly designed for mind transferance from a old body to a new one. However it was found that it transfered the mind across vast distances to unknown worlds. Heres where you come in. The Company now tranesfers you to thease other worlds. They monitor you and gather information about the area your in.Sometimes they have you do little quests for them. Unfortunatly some technological ideas do not transfer with you. For example if your an engineer you do not retain any of that applied knowledge other than the extream basics. When you are sent on missions for the company you can recieve upgrades to your character. Now that i have given you a little background i want you to keep this in mind. You can play any type of character you can think of.fighter,ranger,thief, so on and so forth. Magic Now i know some of you are going to want to play magic users or clerics or something that utilizes the super natural. Here are the stats for magic. Force ( kind of like telekinesis ) form ( inorganic material ) alter ( organic ( flesh ) nature ( self explanitory ) bestow ( imbuing magic in items ) heat & Light ( or the reversal of ) time & movement ( teleport, fly, etc ) spiritual & mental ( magic detection,languages, etc ) Any spell that you can think off falls under one of thease catigories. Just use your imagination. Cleric type characters get a similar magic chart but it differs only slightly. Standared D&D dice are used and will be explain during play. As a game master I am all about the players having a good experiance. I combine story telling, hack & slash, as well as adjusting to my players.
